All terms are in US format.

Gauge is dependent on Hook size, yarn weight and personal tension used. 4 x 4 inches=5 sts x 5 rounds (Bobbles & HDC round, from center, out). The Outer 5 rounds are mixed rounds (DCs & HDCs), and the remaining 3 inches inches.

Square Size will be roughly 14 x 14 inches (after blocking).

If your gauge is not lining up, you can try to go up or down a hook size. You also may need to go up or down in yarn weight. Doing a 4 X 4 inch swatch will help you determine your gauge.

4 Weight Yarn (Medium). Yarn used: (Roughly 157-159 yards, 3.1 oz) Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn in the color “Sungold” (Acrylic).
Crochet Hook in size 5.0 MM (US H)
Darning Needle (Metal Yarn Needle)
Scissors
