Although I love summer and warm weather, nothing makes me happier than that first chill in the air once autumn starts. I love all the sights and smells of fall – the vibrant leaves, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkins and pumpkin spice!

I especially love a long cozy scarf to keep me warm during fall and winter. I love to wrap it around my neck two or three times for maximum coziness! The scarf measures 96 inches long and 12 inches wide after blocking so super cozy!

The Autunno Scarf is a simple yet beautiful lace design that features cascading leaves with a pretty garter stitch border.

It’s definitely beginner friendly and though the pattern looks intricate, you only need to be comfortable with knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together and slip slip knit stitches to knit your own!
