’Ava’ Flutterby Large Bird & Bee Mobile (or individual Toys) Knitting pattern!

I created this gorgeous ‘Ava’ one-of-a-kind Flutterby Bird and Bee Mobile with lots of detail. Each bird has a fluted edge wing and flowers on each side. Each Bee has a textured face and wings, and cute bobble feet. Beads are used for the bird eyes, but you can easily substitute the beads and embroider the eyes to make them safe if you are making the birds for babies or small children.

Unique features
This pattern is very versatile as the large size of the Birds and Bees means that you could knit these up as individual toys, or pram toys for example. The Bees could even be knitted up as Cat play toys too! A great bonus! These will make wonderful Gifts!

’Ava’ Mobile will appeal to babies, children, teens and adults alike as it is soooo adorable!

Mobile is shown in White, Pink, Pale Blue, Peach, Lemon Yellow and Black, although you can knit ‘Ava’ Bird and Bee Mobile up in any colour you like! The creative possibilities are endless with different colours of yarn!

(D) 1 x 50g/71m balls - Anchor Style Bamboolo. Aran / 10 ply weight). Shade 00893 Rose Pink.
(E) 1 x 50g/114m ball – Cygnet Essentially Cotton DK. DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 115 Shrimp.
(F) 1 x 100g/216m ball – King Cole Smooth DK. DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 803 Lemon Yellow.
(G) 1 x 50g/103m ball – Cygnet Silcaress DK. DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 217 Black.
2 x 2.75mm knitting needles.
2 x 2.75mm double pointed needles.
Round end small tapestry needle.
2 x (30cm x 9mm) dowel rods.
8 x 5mm Round Black Beads.
Hollow fibre filling.

Skills needed to complete this item
Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Purl, Pass stitch over, Knit in to the front and the back of a stitch.
