The Avebury Scarf features a wonderful interplay of texture and shade in a tonal denim blue colourway for a stunning vertically-striped men’s scarf. It is completely reversible and is worked using a sportweight wool yarn for a light-weight but warm result.

Yarn: Quince & Co Chickadee Organic Heather Sportweight yarn, 100% wool, 150m/164yds:50gm skein in:

Main Colour/MC: #163 Kyanite (Denim Blue):

Contrast Colour/CC: #164 Larimar (Blue/Grey):

• Note: The sizes marked with an asterisk above used almost all of the MC &/or CC yarns specified. Please purchase or hold an extra skein in those colours to ensure you have enough yarn to complete your project.

Yarn substitution: To use an alternative yarn, please select a Sportweight wool yarn with a recommended gauge of 24-26 sts:10 cm/4 ins using 3.25-3.75mm/US #3-5 needles.

Needles: Size 3.75 mm/US #5 circular needles, length 150cm/60 ins.

Gauge: 25sts/36 rows:10cm/4 ins in Seed Stitch, using 3.75mm/US #5 needles.
