Avelina Sweater
The name for my new pattern comes from the Latin root Avis, meaning bird, as Avelina’s defining feature is a softly intricate lace turtleneck that flows into a yoke pattern reminding me of migratory birds in motion.
With the option to wear the turtleneck folded or loosely draped, Avelina adapts to your style and yarn choice, gracefully framing your neck. The lace motif from the collar is mirrored at the cuffs and hem, bringing harmony to each edge of the sweater.
The Avelina Sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down, with contiguous sleeve construction for a smooth, uninterrupted look.
The ease across sizes is 9 cm/3.5”. The picture shows size 3 with 9 cm/3.5” of positive ease.
