Aventine
This shawl is easy to knit but the unique construction makes it flattering and versatile to wear. Knit from the bottom tip outwards, when finished it can be worn as a standard scarf or shawl or alternatively crossed at the front and buttoned for an elegant, draped wrap.

Needles & Notions
2 US size 7 / 4.5 mm circular needles (24”/ 60 cm long)
Adjust needle size as necessary to achieve gauge.
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, 6 buttons (0.75” / 20 mm diameter).
GAUGE
19 sts / 26 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in st st blocked.
