A delicate, feminine lace scarf knitted in a simple lace pattern. Pattern instructions for the edging are given as a chart and for the body of the scarf as a written pattern.

The sample was knitted in Baa Ram Ewe’s exclusive Bluefaced Leicester silk yarn, hand-dyed by the very talented Wharfedale Woolworks.

Avienné is knitted in two halves and joined together with Kitchener stitch.
