The shawl is worked top down starting from a garter tab. The shawl is a shallow triangle shaped with short rows. I used beautiful John Arbon yarns for my version.

Yarn requirements:

Yarn H: John Arbon Alpaca 2-3 ply yarn (100% alpaca). 100g/600m. Colour: Natural White. 70g/ 420m used
John Arbon Knit by Numbers 4 ply mini skeins (100% organically farmed merino). 25g/100m
Colour A – KBN94. 23g used
Colour B – KBN111. 13g used
Colour C – KBN76. 17g used
Colour D – KBN46. 21g used
Colour E - KBN88. 19g used
Colour F – KBN118. 19g used
Colour G - KBN12. 7g used

The shawl can be made using mini skeins or just two contrasting colours. But do bear in mind that if you use 4ply yarn for colour H you might need more than 1 skein of yarn. I used heavy lace weight yarn, which not only means that I needed less than one 100g skein, but it also gave a light and airy appearance to the shawl. I think it would look beautiful if mohair was used in place of colour H.
