These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down with a peasant heel, and the variegated contrast color makes the colorwork minimal and easy.

Finished Size 8 (9)“ foot circumference and 8¾ (9½)” long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 9”.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Alegría (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon; 445 yd 407 m/3½ oz 100 g): #A2020 spirulina (yellow; MC), #A2293 leo (brown; CC1), and #A2463 pescador (blue; CC2), 1 skein each. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles Size 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); waste yarn for heel; tapestry needle.

Gauge 32 sts and 34 rnds = 4” in charted patt.
