Avocados are really neat; avocados are quite a treat! Hello and welcome, this pattern will instruct you on how to make a simple and yummy looking avocado. Materials:
1.90mm crochet hook
Appropriately sized sewing needle
Scissors
Polyester fiber fill or pellets
Felt for decoration (optional)
Embroidery and sewing for decoration (optional)
Yarn:
Aunt Lydia’s Fashion 3 crochet thread in black, brown, green
I actually use Loops and Thread Impeccable Yarn for the green piece and pit, but I unwind the yarn and split it in half to get a smaller gauge.
Optional: lace/sock weight yarn or crochet thread in orange
Stitch Guide:
Mc - magic circle
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
St - stitch
Inc - increase/sc 2 in st
Sl St - slip stitch
Dec - decrease/sc 2st together
Notes:
This project is made in 3 pieces. The black piece begins just like the green piece but has 2 more rows of just sc.
