Avondale is knitted seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases used to shape the v-neck and moving onward to working in the round. The design features a lace panel on both sides (you can choose to work the lace from either the chart or written instructions) and a slightly cropped body with a twisted rib hem.
The sleeves are picked up after the body is finished and short sleeves make for a quick and satisfying finish, while the neck line is left raw for a simple finish.
