Awan (AH-wahn) means ‘cloud’ in Bahasa Melayu Brunei. The pattern is inspired by South East Asia’s beautiful skies and its fluffy clouds, meant to resemble the large cumulus clouds on a hot day. Due to the yarn’s thick and blown-out fibers and that it is knitted with large knitting needles, this vest is a quick knit that can be worn during any season.
