Away With The Fairies
A novelty Afghan square featuring concentric rings of toadstools which would look good in natural life-like colours, fairytale reds and whites, or indeed any old colour you fancy. The caps look particularly effective when worked in a variegated yarn.
This afghan square can be made in worsted yarn to produce a 12” square, or DK where it measures 9.75”. It is not terribly difficult, but there are some unusual techniques, so I would rate it as intermediate. I have however added plenty of notes and tips to the pattern to talk you through.
The pattern was designed specially for the Ravelry 2018 Crochet Block-a-Month’ group’s May square. There will be round by round photos, and discussion there. You are very welcome to join us.
