Hi and welcome to my shop! This pattern was designed to be market make friendly! I find that most all crochet patterns are big and very time consuming and not very market friendly when prepping for shows & events. I try to create my patterns to work with thicker yarn and not end up HUGE.

So I would like to you to meet Axel! He is a medium size axolotl that has NO sewing.

This pattern is written in US terms. You need basic knowledge of crochet terms.

He works up nicely for any level of crocheter. The pattern is very user friendly, detailed with lots of photos and instruction. If you are a beginner crocheter or advanced this pattern will work great for you.

Finished Size:
Approximately 8” from top of the head to bottom gills.

Supplies needed to make Axle:
Premier yarn - parfait chunky - or similar weight yarn of choice. Main body & accent color for the gills.
Small amount of pipsqueak yarn for gills
5 mm hook - hook size will depend on tension and yarn used. Use appropriate hook for you.
6 mm hook - we will double strand the gills
20 mm safety eyes.
