The Axial is knit from the bottom up in one piece using raglan decreases and a simple all over mesh pattern. The edging is knit at the same time as the body of the sweater to keep the finishing work to a minimum.

The pattern calls for 8 balls of a solid color and one ball of gradient yarn to add the distinct tonal effect at the base of the sweater.
