Axion-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The brim is shaped with short rows but instructions are given also for straight brim.

Brim finished circumference non stretched 35.5, 38, 40.5 cm/ 14, 15, 16 inches.

Height approximately 21 cm/ 8.5 inches.

Yarn
100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample(size M) was knitted with Malabrigo Yarn Rios in colourway Franck Ochre, (100% Merino, 192 m/ 210 yds per 100 g) and used 75 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

22.5 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with larger needles in pattern after blocking.
