Axolotl
Axolotl’s are funny creatures. When I first saw a picture of one I couldn’t believe it was real. I kept coming back for another look at their cute faces and I was finally compelled to knit one. I hope you enjoy making one as much as I did!
The pattern is worked in the round on dpns and using icord in parts.
I have included photos for parts of the construction.
The body of the axolotl is knitted holding the lurex thread and 4ply acrylic yarn together throughout to give it an underwater sheen.
You will also need stuffing/fibre fill and a small amount of embroidery thread for the face.
