Axolotls are a miracle of nature. They never seem to grow up, keeping their gills and living underwater their whole lives. That’s what makes them so adorable though - the cute plushy gills, the way they seem to always be smiling, and the way they float gracefully with the current.
This Axolotl is much easier to care for than the real deal - all they need is a place to call home and 20 hugs a day. That’s it!
Any gauge yarn can be used, but the most important thing is for it to be at least 4 ply for the gill section. Just make sure the stitches are tight and don’t let the stuffing show through.
