Ready to make this adorable axolotl?

Skill Level: Seasoned Intermediate- able to crochet in a round, off a foundation chain and surface crochet, as well as single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, follow pattern changes, and sewing on parts.

Supplies needed: Worsted weight yarn, super fine weight yarn/embroidery thread, crochet hook to fit gauge (3.75mm), 9mm safety eyes (optional), stuffing, and a tapestry needle.

Finished size: 9 cm tall from tail tip to head, and 7.5 cm long with worsted weight yarn, and 3.75mm hook. The size will greatly depend on your gauge and yarn.

Note - You are free to use whatever weight yarn you’d like, however you will need to up your crochet hook and safety eye size (if using) to maintain the appropriate proportions.

This pattern comes in two forms: first, a “just the facts” two page condensed version with just the pattern for experienced makers, and second: a multi-page PDF featuring step by step instructions, photos, and instructions on certain stitches.
