Splish splash! These cute axolotl amigurumi are anxious to swim into your heart. They make a perfect companion for children, and a lovely friend for you as well!

This is a pattern for an amigurumi axolotl. It is crocheted in seven pieces and sewn together. When worked in worsted weight yarn, the finished axolotl will be approximately 6 inches by 2 inches by 3 inches, although sizes will of course vary with yarn and stitching. It is worked in 8 parts, which are then sewn together with yarn. Instructions for assembly with step-by-step pictures are at the bottom. Any colors can be used.
