This applique is perfect for sewing onto blankets, pillows, hats, bags, clothing, etc!

With worsted weight yarn and a 2.5mm hook, the finished applique will measure about 6.25 inches from top of head to bottom of tail.

You can make the applique bigger or smaller by using different weight yarn and different sized hooks.

You will want yarn in your choice of body color, gill color, and heart color and a small amount of black yarn for the mouth.

You will also want 2 6mm (or desired size) button eyes.
