Axoxolot Hood is a very simple, quick and practical single hood and neckwarmer.
It’s the perfect quick-to-wear accessory.
The edge is decorated with a pretty XOXO pattern and the body of the hood is worked with broken rib 2x1. The neck is worked in classical rib 2x1.
It is seamless and knit from top to bottom.
First the top begins with a provisional cast on for a seamless work. Then it is knitted back and forth until the neck.
The edge of the hood includes an i-cord to slip in a cord or simply have a very neat edge.
The only cables used are C4B and C4F.
The explanations provided are for a standard size.
For a more or less wide hood, you must add or remove a multiple of 6 stitches.
Since you can try on the hood at any time, you can easily adjust the height to suit you.
And of course you can play with the size of the needles or the weight of your yarn.
The sample presented here was made with 100% acrylic yarn, for such a yarn blocking does not have much effect on the dimensions so you can have a good overview when you try the work in progress.
