This is a pdf newborn knitting pattern, written in English and using standard US terminology, for you to knit a fingering weight baby bonnet photo prop.

The completed Ayden Bonnet is a photo prop to be used with supervision in your newborn photography sessions.

This is NOT a ready to ship bonnet. If you would like me to knit a bonnet for you, please message me.

This pattern is well-suited to an intermediate beginner. It is knit flat, then seamed in the back.

It is worked up using fingering weight yarn on 3.5mm (US4) needles.

You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, yarn over, pass a stitch over, purl, and knit two stitches together.

My gauge: 30 sts and 34 rows = 4”, 10 cms.
