Dimensions: 74” / 188 cm length across the finished edge, 35.25” / 89.5 cm depth
Needles: US 7 / 4.50 mm circular needles, long enough to accommodate stitches; or the size needed to obtain correct gauge

Gauge: 19 sts x 30 rows in 1x1 Rib & Garter blocks = 4” / 10 cm, steam blocked
A repeat of 13 st 1x1 Rib and 13 st Garter blocks (total 23 sts) measures 4.75” / 12 cm horizontally,
A repeat of 20 rows Rib and 20 rows Garter blocks (total 40 rows) measures 5.25” / 13 cm vertically

Construction Notes:
Aysham is a triangular shawl that starts from the tip of the triangle and grows with increases. A check pattern worked throughout the shawl is constructed with 1x1 Rib and Garter blocks. Triangular shapes are worked on the edges and the work bound off with a Triangular bind off.
