Did you ever want to make a crocheted pair of shorts but never did it because of complicated shaping? I feel you! :) So I made this design to get around that difficulty. This pattern requires no shaping or complex seaming, making it a suitable wearable beginner weekend project.

“Ayu Smile!” is Balinese-inspired easy to make wrap shorts. Wear for a stroll or at the beach. It can be crocheted in a weekend. The pattern instructions allow you to make the shorts in any size - for children, teens and adults. You may use any yarn and suitable hook. I recommend Sport, Baby, 3-ply, Light Worsted or DK, using crochet hook size 4mm to 6mm. The sample shown uses Sport-weight acrylic yarn and 4mm crochet hook.
