> Azalea Leaves Shawl

Azalea Leaves Shawl
A wool-cotton blend is perfect for this late Spring/early Summer shawlette with azalea leaves on a back panel and more leaves edging the outer perimeter. The sample is knit using Adriafil’s DuoPlus Comfort (wool 52%,cotton 48%) in color 85. The sample used approx 250 yards of this DK-weight yarn with size 9 needles.
• this shawl starts at the top center; by CO on just a few sts, and inc 6 sts every other row, the shawl has a curved, more organic shape than the typical triangle shawl
• after 3 repeats of the leaf (while increasing every other row), the sts are BO while completing the original leaf edging which meets in the center before starting up again.
• never hesitate to email me if you have any questions or want digital copies of the charts
