Azania Shawl
Azania, proposed name for South Africa.
The shawl on photos knitted in kid-mohair yarn, which I get as a gift from the Republic of South Africa. Therefore, I decided to give this beautiful name to my new shawl pattern.
CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
This is a rectangular shawl.
The shawl is worked from center outwards.
The first half of the shawl and edging is worked starting from Provisional cast-on.
The second half of the shawl is worked in the opposite direction after the waste yarn being removed.
Finished Dimensions: 30.5” (75 cm) wide & 78.5” (200 cm) long after blocking.
Notions: crochet hook, waste yarn, stitch markers and blocking pins.
Please note: the pattern is charted only.
