Mein neues Smartphone brauchte einen Schutz und da ich die Doppelstricktechnik für mich entdeckt habe, gibt es hier nun eine Anleitung dafür. Da es Smartphones in allen möglichen Größen gibt, kann man die Anleitung natürlich anpassen.
Man kann die Größe verändern indem man andere Wollstärken benutzt oder eine andere Nadelstärke, die seitlichen Maschen weglässt oder welche hinzufügt oder das kleine Karomuster oben und unten weglässt, da gibt es viele Möglichkeiten :-)

Ihr benötigt 10-15g Wolle in Sockenwollstärke, 2 Rundstricknadeln und 1 Stopfnadel zum Vernähen der Fäden.
Ihr solltet Charts lesen können und die Grundlagen des Doppelstrickens beherrschen. Für den Bund habe ich ein Tutorial angefertigt, welches ihr euch runterladen könnt.

My new smart phone needed a cozy and because I discovered double knitting shortly, I designed a pattern for it. Smart phones have all different kinds of measurements, so you might adapt the pattern which is easily done. Just leave out a few side stitches or add a few, take a different yarn or a different needle size, leave out the small pattern above and underneath the main one…. lots of possibilities :-)

You need 10-15g of fingering weight yarn, 2 circular needles and a darning needle to weave in ends.
You should be able to read charts and you should know the basics of doubleknitting. I made a phototutorial for the ribbing in doubleknitting technique.
