I used lion Brand Touch of alpaca in colour Navy 1 ball will complete this set

5 - 3/4 inch buttons of your choice

Size 5 mm (US 8) circular needle (16 inch length) ,straight needles or dpns,

Darning needle

4 Stitch Markers (preferable 3 matching colours and ONE different)
