Azumarill (Pokemon)
Time for another Pokemon! This week I’m finishing up the Azurill-Marill-Azumarill evolution line! It’s definitely one of my all time favorites, they’re just so adorable! I’ve also been playing Pokemon Snap and the absence of these 3 cuties doesn’t sit quite right with me, so I’m very glad I at least have them in my apartment to fawn over!
Materials
To make Azumarill you will need:
– A Crochet hook, 2.5mm
– Blue, white and black yarn
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– A pipe cleaner for the tail
– Felting wool in pink for the mouth and ears
– Safety eyes
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make Azumarill using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, Azumarill should be about 16cm tall.
Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make her:
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Single crochet (sc)
– Half double crochet (Hdc)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
– Slip stitch
