The Azure Skies Crochet Cowl is the second in my series featuring a broomstick lace stitch pattern, and using another amazing colour from the King Cole Sprite DK range called Rhodes a lovely mix of blues and lilac.
Ideal for those in-between days when you want a little warmth and a pop of colour around your neck. Leave it loose or fold it into your jacket.
The Cowl is lightweight with a lovely broomstick lace crochet stitch, adding to the texture, achieved by using a 15mm needle and a 5.5mm crochet hook.
The yarn comes in a gorgeous palette of beautifully muted multi tonal shades; all named after Mediterranean islands and is a 4 weight. The yarn does vary slightly in thickness, in places. It is super soft and an easy to work with acrylic.
I ball was sufficient for this pattern.
