B for Beaver Amigurumi
Let’s crochet the alphabet! We’re now at B for Beaver!
My beaver is named Betty - so meet Betty the Beaver!
Betty is a bright-eyed, slightly chubby little builder, always with a smile and full of enthusiasm for her next big project. Not only is she a master craftswoman of cozy dams, but she also loves to host gatherings for all her woodland friends. Her inventive nature and warm hospitality ensure every day is a cheerful adventure!
Now for the important stuff! This Beaver pattern is made out of multiple pieces crocheted in the round and then sewn together. There is a written assembly-guide to help get the sewing portion just right.
You will receive two PDF patterns: one with photos and colors, and another in black and white to make it more printer-friendly!
Basic crochet stitches are needed, such as sc, inc, dec, ss (slipstitch), magic ring, hdc, any stitches above basic level will have a YouTube tutorial linked.
Amigurumi can be made with any type of yarn of your liking. My Beaver is made with Friends Cotton 8/4 from Hobbii and a 2,5 mm hook. These turn out to be about 9 cm tall, or just under 4 inches.
I hope you enjoy the pattern and your new beaver friend(s)! Be sure to look out for the pattern for the rest of the alphabet ;) Happy crocheting!
