Meet Baa Baa Blue Sheep!
I wanted to recreate the look of a classic sheep skin jacket, like the ones that were very popular in the 1970’s, without the bulk and weight.
Teaming a Tweed Look Yarn with fluffy Mock Fur Yarn in a lovely blue does go a long way towards achieving this attractive style.
This jacket looks great on boys, to wear with jeans, but also girls, just change the colour scheme.

The pattern is flat knit using DK weight yarn and comes in 6 Sizes:
0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 2-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years
To fit chest: 16- 18- 20- 22- 24- 26 “ or 41- 46- 51- 56- 61 cm

Materials Main Colour : DK wool yarn 3- 3- 4- 4- 5- 5 x 50 g balls approx. 175 m per 50 g ball
Yarn Suggestion: Rowan Felted Tweed DK or King Cole Baby Alpaca DK
Contrast Colour : Mock Fur or Boucle Yarn 1-1-2- 2- 2- 3 x 25 g balls approx. 82 m per 25 g ball
Yarn Suggestion: Patons Fairytale Cloud or King Cole Cuddles DK

Knitting needles: 3.25 mm (US3) and 4 mm (US6)
6 buttons 12 mm diameter
stitch markers ( small safety pins)
darning needle for seaming
