BABA sweater
The BABA sweater got its name simply from the stripes with color A and B :) I’m still enthused about the stand-up collar working with the most wollen yarns and that it gets back in shape again, even after I’ve worn it rolled down
An option for an A-line shaped body and optional short sleeves are included in the pattern
The BABA sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in 2x2 stripe pattern (2 rounds - 2 colors) throughout. Start working the collar and then increase for the yoke. Then the yoke is worked with raglan increases to sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, underarm sts are cast on, and you continue to work the body to the bottom. After the body is completed, the sleeve sts are picked up again to work the sleeves top down in the round to the end.
