Description

Babouchka^(S/M/L) is a stockinette shawl with nopes and pompons. Very easy to knit, yet joyful and funny. An effortless it shawl! Furthermore, it’s the perfect pattern to upcycle your leftovers!
The pattern provides written instructions, as well as two reading rhythms (beginners + experts).
A photo tutorial will help you to create the “bubblons” and get the best out of your project!

Construction

Babouchka is a top-down shawl, knit back and forth.

Gauge

Gauge is 24x34 in stockinette stitch.
While it’s not crucial for this pattern, keep in mind that a different one will affect your final measurements and yardage/meterage.

In any case, Babouchka is nicer with a looser gauge.

Sizes

S: 130 cm/51 inch length and 55 cm/21.5 inch height
M: 150 cm/59 inch length and 65 cm/25.5 inch height
L: 170 cm/67 inch length and 75 cm/29.5 inch height

Yarn

1 – 1.5 – 2.25 skein(s) of Fauvisme Les Caspérides (75% superwash merino, 20% nylon, 5% silver stellina, 400m-437y./100g) in Ivoire (MC) + 4 – 5 – 6 Romantisme Micro (100% superwash merino, 40 m-44 y./10g) or:

S: 100g or 400m/437 y. of any fingering yarn + 4 colours: Colour A 7,5 m/8.2 y., Colour B 14 m/15.4 y., Colour C 20,5 m/22.5 y. and Colour D 27 m/29.7 y., all in any fingering yarn.

M: 150g or 600m/659 y. of any fingering yarn + 5 colours: Colour A 7,5 m/8.2 y., Colour B 14 m/15.4 y., Colour C 20,5 m/22.5 y., Colour D 27 m/29.7 y. and Colour E 33,5 m/36.8 y., all in any fingering yarn.

L: 225g or 900m/985 y. of any fingering yarn + 6 colours: Colour A 7,5 m/8.2 y., Colour B 14 m/15.4 y., Colour C 20,5 m/22.5 y., Colour D 27 m/29.7 y., Colour E 33,5 m/36.8 y. and Colour F 40 m/44 y., all in any fingering yarn.

The presentation model is knit in Ivoire, Férit, Playlist, Mermaid, Montoney, Antor and Mirol and used about 213g (850 m – 934 y.) of MC for a size L.

3,5 mm / US 4 needles or any size that gives you the gauge

Description

Babouchka^(S/M/L) est un châle en jersey avec des nopes à pompons. Très simple à tricoter, il fait pourtant beaucoup d’effet ! C’est d’ailleurs le patron parfait pour mettre vos restes en valeur !

Le patron fournit les instructions pour le tricoter, ainsi que deux rythmes de lecture (débutants et experts). Un tuto photo montre et explique comment créer les nopes à pompons.

Construction

Babouchka est tricoté en aller-retour, du haut vers le bas.

Échantillon

L’échantillon est de 24x34 en jersey endroit.
Bien qu’il s’agisse d’un châle et que l’échantillon ne soit pas si important, gardez à l’esprit qu’en avoir un différent affectera le métrage et les mesures finales.

Par ailleurs, Babouchka est plus joli lorsqu’il est tricoté un peu déjaugé.
