A colorful sweater with a buttonhole opening at the shoulder.
Fits 8-12 months babies. The size of the sweater can be slightly
varied by using thicker or thinner yarn and/or changing the tension.
Knitted in a wool yarn for softness and warmth.
The pattern is suitable for standard gauge knitting machines with a ribber.
Techniques covered include Fair Isle pattern knitting, working with ribber, neck and shoulders shaping in Fair Isle pattern (can be substituted for the cut and sew method),
and a double 1 x 1 rib neckband to enclose the neck.
