Baby Apatosaurus Dinosaur
This is a crochet pattern to make an apatosaurus, written in US crochet terms. It is a relatively easy pattern with no complicated stitches. Care needs to be taken with the neck, which requires some attention with the shaping. Otherwise, a beginner to amigurumi should have little trouble. It is expected that you can make a magic ring, increase, decrease, work in a continuous spiral and know the importance of using a row marker. You can use any yarn type for your project so long as you use a suitable hook size so that the stitches are tight and the stuffing does not show through. The examples were made using 26g of DK weight yarn and a 3.25mm hook. They measure 29cm in length and 12cm tall. I also used 7.5mm safety eyes though these could be embroidered instead. You will also need stitch markers or yarn scraps to mark eye placement, scissors, stuffing and a yarn needle.
You are welcome to sell any items made from my patterns.
This pattern has been thoroughly tested with thanks to my lovely testers.
