This cute baby hat knitting pattern is a must for those who love sheep and the instructions are for babies 0-6, 6-12 months and 1-2 years.

The hat is knitted up flat using 4mm and 5mm knitting needles using Aran/Worsted yarn. It will knit up on any yarn suitable for these sizes of knitting needles. You will need approximately 50grams of the main colour for the hat and oddments of black and white yarn for the sheep design. I attached a detachable faux fur pom pomb which I purchased online. But the hat would look just as cute with a traditional handmade pom pom.

The sheep design is created by inserting an intarsia design chart. Alternatively, you could add the design following completion by using duplicate stitch.
