Baby Banana Leaf Bat
Hi! This is my first ever pattern, so please bare with me if there are any kinks. I had the yarn, and I wanted to make a cute little bat, but I couldn’t find any that really made me happy, so decided to buckle down and make one. And what bat is cuter than the banana leaf bat! So here it is.
I suppose if you want to scale up you can, or if you wanted to use a fuzzy yarn for the bat’s body you could.
Also, I’m not sure the exact yardage, but you can make quite a few of them before you run out of yarn.
YOU MAY ALSO NEED:
- Some black thread to embroider, or black beads for eyes.
- A bit of ribbon or something to hang the bat (it makes a cute ornament)
- A crochet hook or tapestry needle to assemble the parts, weave in ends, and embroider the face on.
And now a disclaimer: I really love this pattern, and I love the idea of sharing it, but please do not sell the pattern or the bats. You can give them as gifts, you can make them for friends and family, heck you can even ask a friend or family member to reimburse you for the yarn and your time and effort, but please don’t sell these commercially unless its for charity. If it is for charity, just drop me a message and let me know, maybe send me some pictures, I’d love to hear about it.
