This stockinette blanket is a simple knit if you don’t mind handling several skeins of yarn at the same time. Basically you are adding a new color at the outside edge while decreasing the existing color in the center.

I call this pattern a top down because I like the solid white at the bottom when presenting it. Working ‘top down’ as it were, makes changing the colors easier. So top down or bottom up it stunning design.
