Baby’s first Aran sweater! I have made this for many babies. It is a very straight forward pattern using front and back post stitches to form the basket weave for the body and sleeves, and front and back post stiches to form ribbing for the border.
Size: 0-3 months (3-6 months); chest 18” (21”); length 9” (10”)

Using the four colors in the pattern, there is less than a full skein of each color used. I mix and match colors for making multiple sweaters or you could minimize the color changes to buy fewer skeins of yarn.
Have fun with this pattern. Although the color use is specified in the pattern, these can be changed up to match your own creative style.
