This sweet bat costume accessory set is a really fun and quick project for baby to wear for Halloween or a photo shoot.

The pattern for the cape is easily adjusted in length by continuing pattern repeats and respective increases. Included are instructions for arm and wrist bands that can be used (please, no neck ties for babies and young children), or the cape can be used without them or attached to a long-sleeved onesie. The cape pattern would make a lovely batwing shaped blanket, as well. The finished size as written is about an 18” wing span and each wing segment is about 7” long. The hat is a simple beanie style with little bat ears stitched on.
