This is my go-to baby beanie pattern because it’s quick and simple! The rolled band gives a secure and snug fit. It’s best knitted in merino wool which gives some stretch to the beanie and is soft for a baby’s head. It’s a perfect pattern for beginner knitters who want to learn to knit in the round.
Sizes: Newborn (0 - 3, 3 - 9, 9 - 18)
To fit: 35cm (40cm, 45cm, 50cm)
Yarn: I have listed some suggested 8ply / DK merino wool yarns, all of which I have made the beanie with before.
