I use my left over yarn to make these baby beanies for gifts. For our 1st grandchild I made a baby blanket from the yarn suggested above and used the left overs to make beanies to match. The beanies that are all one color are my favorite. The stitch variation adds a subtle hint of design. I’ve never had a new mother not like these beanies. They have enough stretch, to give the baby several months of wear. This pattern is a fast knit, which is nice when you need a quick gift but want to give them something special and handmade.
