“Baby Bébé” is a simple baby-size blanket in either bulky or super-bulky (chunky or super-chunky) weight yarns, creating alternate bands of garter and stockinette stitch. There is no lace or openwork for catching wee fingers or toes and because of the basic design simplicity, lends itself to using busier, multi-coloured and self-striping yarns.

There is an option to personalize your project in the bulky version by adding your own custom words or phrases in uncomplicated blocky lettering. A pdf of a “sideways” alphabet chart for this is included with the pattern.
(The super-bulky version is not suitable for adding lettering using the supplied charts.)
