Also, instructions for the optional cable border are provided.

Blanket measurements: Preemie- 18”/45cm x 18”/45cm, Full term- 25”/64cm x 25”/64cm, Stroller- 32”/81cm x 35”/89cm, Crib- 35”/89cm x 43”/109cm.

The pattern stitch may look a little daunting to the newbie knitter but do not fear this gorgeous stitch. You will only be working with one color per row so no fancy Fair Isle here.

I frequently line the back side with cotton flannel fabric. And or add a cable for that added touch of class!
Adding fabric and/or cable are optional. However, they will help keep the blanket from curling.

I also provide the pattern repeat so if you would like to use this particular stitch pattern for working up a dishcloth, tea towel, or even a larger blanket.
