Baby Blanket
by Susie Johns
This soft blanket is deceptively easy to knit with repeating increases and decreases creating a wave or zigzag effect. Wide stripes in pastel colours are interspersed with narrower bands of blue – but it would look just as lovely in other colourways and is a great project for using up double-knitting yarn left over from other projects.
Finished size of blanket is 80cm x 60cm, just right for swaddling a newborn, for a cot cover, or for tucking around an older baby in a pram or pushchair.
