Blanket is fairly easy to work up, the hat a little more difficult, although with the very detailed instructions and photos included, a beginner should be able to tackle it. Booties require a bit more experience.

Uses 3 or 4 ply Medium Worsted Weight yarn Sport or Aran Weight for Great Britain / 8 or 10 ply for Australia. Thinner yarn just needs to work one size up. Hat is worked from the bottom up so you will be able to check your head measurement almost immediately. Blanket as instructed is 31 x 51 inches or 78.75 x 129.5 cm but can easily be made smaller or larger. Set also looks wonderful in one color.

Depending on the sizes you make 1 large 454 gr / 16 oz ball of Medium Weight yarn should be enough, plus another 1/3 of a ball for border and small amount for Flower, Star and Car. For Larger Sizes 1 - 454 gr / 16 oz plus 175 gr / 7 oz balls may be required.
