Makes a lovely New Baby or Child’s Blanket (or a Lapghan for Mom)!

Only $4.99 through April 2, 2025 with coupon code: BABY

Knit in Garter Stitch with simple Intarsia, the Heart Coaster in the Intro Download is a great way to become familiar with this fun technique!

With my design of Garter Stitch Intarsia, all the Rows are knit, instead of purling the color changes on the back, which can be slow and not as neat. Every WS Row is a repeat of the RS Row, so you can work the WS more easily. Best of all, Garter Stitch fabric is lovely and squishy and doesn’t need to be blocked!

Our Mystery Baby Blanket will be revealed over 5 weeks:
Clue 1: April 2, 2025
Clue 2: April 9th
Clue 3: April 16th
Clue 4: April 23rd
Clue 5: April 30th (end of blanket and Border)

Blanket uses size #6 needles (24-36” circular suggested to accommodate stitches) and #8 circular for Cast on and Bind off only.

Knit with #4 Worsted Weight yarn (approx. 50-55 yards/oz)
680 yards Background Color (includes 180 yards for Border)
240 yards White or Cream (includes 30 yards for Border)
250 yards Mama Main Color
65 yards Baby Main Color
45 yards Brown
35 yards Black

Baby Blanket Color Suggestions:
Mama and Baby should match, with Mama having the darker shade and Baby the lighter shade of the same color.
White or Cream is used for the details of Mama and Baby and also part of the Border.
Background should be a nice contrast to Mama and Baby colors.
