This baby blanket is soft and cuddly in a pretty combination of purple and blue yarns. However, any worsted weight yarn can be substituted. The blanket is made in 3 panels - two side panels and one center panel. The pattern can be followed by reading the instructions or following the chart. Panels are sewn together to form the blanket and an optional crochet border is worked all the way around the outer edge. The stitches used are the basket and dash stitch. The center panel is done in a heart pattern.
